Lori Jenkins, CPA, President has over twenty-five years of experience in the financial and operational management of healthcare organizations. With a degree in Accounting from Siena College, she started her career as an auditor for Ernst and Whinney, where she performed audits on a variety of organizations from banks to hospitals. After her tenure at E&W, she moved onto an internal auditor position at Farm Family Insurance. In this position, she was responsible for developing and managing the operational and financial auditing program, which included the health claims department. Prior to starting Strategic Solutions, she acted as Executive Director for a large, multi-site, multi-specialty group practice. During her stay at this practice, where she started as Financial Manager, she managed a 200% growth in providers, and was responsible for developing the annual budget process, enhancing collections, and managing the operational and financial impact associated with rapid growth. As a consultant in Strategic Solutions, she has handled the financial management and operational improvement needs of clients, such as budgeting, feasibility studies, selecting EHR systems, mentoring Office Managers, and managing the billing and collections process. Areas of expertise include operational analysis and improvement; financial management and reporting; managed care contracting; and revenue enhancement through strategies that target both cost reduction and improved collections.
